Youth Smoking Cessation
Empowering Youth to Live Tobacco-Free
Goal
Community Builders of Maryland is helping youth and young adults across our state break free from nicotine addiction through support, education, and community engagement.
Overview
At Community Builders of Maryland, we believe every young person deserves the chance to live a strong, healthy, and confident life. Our Youth Adult Smoking Cessation Program helps Marylanders ages 13–24 quit smoking, vaping, or using tobacco products.
Through guidance, peer mentorship, and positive community support, we’re building a generation that values wellness over addiction.
The Truth About Tobacco and Vaping
Tobacco companies target youth — but we’re fighting back. Nicotine harms brain development, increases anxiety, and creates lifelong addiction risks. Quitting now helps you focus better, breathe easier, and take control of your future.
More than 20% of Maryland high school students have tried e-cigarettes — but thousands are now choosing a healthier path.
